Product Features
The Guarantee of Origin (GO) is a voluntary certification that verifies the renewable origin of the energy sources used by the IGO qualified plants.
Each security (GO) corresponds to 1 MWh of renewable energy produced and is issued once a month at the request of the producer for each MWh of electricity fed into the network.
Sales companies are obliged by law to obtain a GO to demonstrate the amount of electricity produced from renewable sources in their energy mix.
Market opportunities
Import/export of GOs from countries belonging to AIB (Association of Issuing Bodies).
Diversification
Wide choice for the technology of the transferring plant (wind, solar, etc.).
Specialisation
Selection of plants with specific installed power, year of entry into operation or CO2 free.
